Taylor Goldman, LCSW-C
Psychotherapist
Why I do this work:
In life, we are met by a variety of different hurdles and I believe the experience and strength we gain from withstanding them is what shapes who we are as a whole. I am passionate about helping others work towards bringing to light the best version of themselves to not only improve their own well-being, but to assist in strengthening the healthy and meaningful relationships in their life. Throughout the course of our work together, you can expect to be provided with a safe, nurturing and supportive space.
My Specialties:
I am passionate about working with women as they navigate new transitions in their lives and the challenges that come along with that. Whether it's entering the world of motherhood, experiencing new changes within the family, or professional/personal changes, I am here to help you process and understand your new experiences. I also enjoy working with teens and children with anxiety and depressive disorders. Helping them further understand their experiences, thoughts and beliefs and how they may be impacting their troublesome symptoms can be incredibly beneficial.
As a therapist, I will work collaboratively with you and/or your family to develop meaningful goals to work towards to help increase your overall fulfillment in life. I will help guide you in bringing to light the best version of yourself. You can expect to be provided with a safe, nurturing and supportive space throughout our work together.
My Not-So-Specialties:
Eating Disorders and Personality Disorders are outside of my expertise and therefore I would not be a strong fit. I would be happy to help with referring you to alternative therapists who would be better suited to meet your needs.
